Gambler Bass Boats recently moved into their new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility complete with a private test lake. The new facility, designed specifically to accommodate the unique processes created by Gambler, has made it possible to develop a finely tuned, precisely controlled manufacturing process. The almost effortless control of the manufacturing process has provided the opportunity to give free reign to the innovative spirit of Gambler to tackle new ideas and break new ground. Gambler initiated an intense research and development program with a signle goal: to analyze every aspect of current bass boat design, construction, and function to once again introduce innovative ideas to the industry.

A joint effort with Dupont to create the ultimate bass boat construction process has resulted in a dramatically improved hull structure that is lighter and stronger. The addition of Dupont kevlar® to the hull laminate has brought with it a Lifetime Hull Warranty. The age old problem of designing a bass boat hull that has both good hole shot and top speed has become an even greater almost insurmountable problem with the advent of newer heavier outboard motors with strict RPM limitations, larger trolling motors requiring more and larger batteries, larger gas tanks and livewells. Gambler took a fresh new approach to the problem and the end result was the revolutionary “T.A.C.” System. The “Total Attitude Control” System gives the driver total control to accomplish an instant level hole shot and level stable top end handling. The wide range of added control contributed by the "T.A.C" System made it possible to have freedom to study new concepts in hull design. The Gambler patented "Hydrolock Hull" Design famous for its ultra fast, smooth, dry, precise handling, has been refined to even higher levels of performance. The newly developed "Quick Release" Hull Design provides improved fuel economy, a smoother drier ride, and more stable top end handling. The Research and Development Team was energized by the success of the "T.A.C" System and new "Quick-Release" hull design. The team with renewed enthusiasm committed themselves to bringing every aspect of every Gambler to new higher levels of perfection. They studied and tested specially formulated gelcoats, resins, epoxies, bonding putties, composite material, foams, and adhesives to assemble the finest products for Gambler Bass Boats. The result is a smoother, more brilliant and more durable product.

The team also made significant improvements to the functional aspect of the boat. The livewells were made larger the fill aerate and pump-out systems were redesigned for more efficiency and ease of maintenance. Livewell lights were added and hull fittings were changed to new snap-tight designs. The team selected MotorGuide® Trolling Motors and Delco Voyager® Batteries as standard equipment. The large Front Casting Deck has new larger rod boxes with Rod Organizers for 16 rods and Retractable Rod Straps. The Rear Casting Deck now has two new convenient Quick-Draw Tackle Boxes for 10 Plano Boxes, two Quick-Draw Trays for 2 Plano Boxes and additional storage for tools and tackle. The driver’s compartment is larger with more legroom. The new sport style seats are wider and softer with built-in lumber support and covered with soft leather-touch marine vinyl. A new center console step with a large storage box and non-skid step provides easy access to the rear deck and convenient storage.
